Given the amount of violence today, stun guns are becoming more and more popular as a means of self defense. Although a stun gun is more expensive than a weapon like pepper spray, if you have the extra dollars to spend, the stun gun can prove to be a more cost effective purchase.

With a taser, you only get one chance, as you have to rewind the probes and reset the gun after each use.

Stun guns can come in many forms, most of which make them look like normal everyday items that a person would carry with them. The two most popular are cell phones and lipstick. Flashlight stun guns are good to carry if you are out late at night.
